In 2020, MWF accepted many new members! Each day, we will be highlighting one. Please join us in welcoming, Elliot Bostwick Davis, Ph.D.

Elliot brings a wealth of experience to art museums as a curator, strategic thinker, and, most recently, as Director and CEO of the Norton Museum of Art.  From 1990 to 200, Davis was a fellow and assistant curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she was responsible for American, British, and Contemporary works of art in the Department of Drawings and Prints, and later for American paintings in the American Wing.  After resigning from the Norton in June 2020, Davis has spent the pandemic contributing to online exhibitions, expanding upon her work on the art museum as a catalyst for empathy, and serving as a guest curator for the Cape Ann Museum in Gloucester, MA.
