As a leader of Harvard Kennedy School’s Senior Executive Fellows Program, Dana Born was awarded 2017 Innovation in Teaching Award. Dana was honored for providing innovative solutions to students’ learning and engagement with senior executives around the world.

Dana will also receive the Distinguished Alumni Award which is the highest honor which Penn State presents to its alumni.

State Auditor Suzanne Bump honored by Emerge Massachusetts as a “Woman of the Decade.”

State Auditor Suzanne Bump will be honored by Emerge Massachusetts as a “Women of the Decade” at its upcoming 10th anniversary celebration. Emerge Massachusetts is the premier training program for Democratic women. Cambridge philanthropist and political activist Barbara Lee founded Emerge Massachusetts. She has also been a major national backer of female Democratic candidates for US Senate, Congress, Governor and Attorney General. According to its website, “We inspire women to run, we hone their skills to win. Our goal is clear: to increase the number of Democratic women in public office.”

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh announces Priscilla Douglas joins the Boston Public Library Board of Trustees

Mayor Martin J. Walsh today announced that executive coach, author and speaker Priscilla Douglas has been appointed to the Boston Public Library Board of Trustees. Douglas was sworn in on Tuesday, June 27, at City Hall, and fills the vacancy of Carol Fulp, who departed the Board in February 2017. Priscilla’s professional career includes key executive positions in government, academics, and business, for many of which she was the first woman and the first African American appointment.
