As president of Zipcar, Tracey is focused on innovation and leveraging technology to grow Zipcar’s position as a key player in the mobility industry.  Tracey has 20 years of experience in leadership roles at consumer technology companies, including senior management roles at TripAdvisor and Expedia where she oversaw business strategy, finance, operations, product development, and marketing.

Kimberly is the President of Related Beal, the Boston office of Related Companies, where she is responsible for the overall management of the firm.  Ms. Sherman Stamler leads the company in its pursuit of new development and opportunities and in all financing activities across the Boston business units.  Related Beal is active in the residential, life science, office, hotel, retail, public realm and mixed-use sectors.

Robin Chase is a transportation entrepreneur. She is co-founder and former CEO of Zipcar, the largest carsharing company in the world; as well as co-founder of Veniam, a network company that moves terabytes of data between vehicles and the cloud. Her recent book is Peers Inc: How People and Platforms are Inventing the Collaborative Economy and Reinventing Capitalism. Her current passion is working with cities to maximize the transformation possible with the introduction of self driving cars.

As a 25-year Fidelity Investments veteran with financial services expertise, Pamela Everhart is a senior vice president and head of Regional Public Affairs and Community Relations in Fidelity’s Communications, Public Affairs and Policy Group. In this role, Pamela oversees the firm’s state and local government relationships, public affairs and community relations activities at its Boston Headquarters and across Fidelity’s regions in the U.S. Previously, Pamela led the firm’s advocacy strategy and engagement with government officials in Washington, DC on federal regulatory policy matters that could impact Fidelity’s ability to serve its clients and customers, its products and services, and the firm.

Linda Mason co-founder of Bright Horizons Family Solutions, taking it from start-up in her home, raising financing, building the organization, and taking it public.  The company is the largest world-wide provider of worksite child care, early education, and education advising. Bright Horizons, now a $8 billion public company trading on the New York Stock Exchange, operates more than 1,200 high quality child development centers for employers in six countries.

Abbie has over 30 years of experience in Senior R&D and Executive leadership roles, and focuses on the formation, development and strategy of our portfolio companies. She has a strong commitment to culture, and prioritizes establishing experienced, diverse teams. Emerging technologies and new advances in science excite Abbie because of their impact on the ability of our portfolio companies to make a difference in the lives of patients. She is eager to continue using her industry expertise to build innovative companies from the ground up, and enthusiastic about tackling the toughest disease challenges in medicine.

New Member Spotlight: Denella Clark

In 2020, MWF accepted many new members! Each day, we will be highlighting one. Please join us in welcoming, Denella Clark, Chair, MA Commission on the Status of Women.

 

Denella serves as the chair of  the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women (MCSW), as the first woman of color to lead the Commission. As president of Boston Arts Academy Foundation, her vision and leadership have created significantly greater visibility and financial sustainability for BAA, the city’s only public high school for the visual and performing arts. She has more than 25 years of experience in non-profit management, with significant leadership roles with The Dimock Center, Joslin Diabetes Center, MGH/Partners Healthcare, Bottom Line and most recently led her own firm The Give Back Group.

Beth retired from Fidelity investments in 2003, after a successful 20 year career managing numerous equity mutual funds. She turned her attention to the nonprofit institutions that she was passionate about. Beth serves in various capacities at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s, Big Sister Assn of Greater Boston, and the DeCordova Sculpture Park & Museum.
